Maptuner tuning licenses unlock ECU programming on Sea-Doo and Yamaha watercraft through the Maptuner system. Licenses are emailed to the purchaser, are VIN-specific once activated, and cannot be transferred to another vehicle.
Choose Your License
Yamaha Tuning License ($599.95). One license per Yamaha PWC (single engine) programmed with a Maptuner X or Maptuner Nano (device sold separately). Gives full access to RIVA's Tuning Library and technical support, the Service App functions (read and clear fault codes), live monitoring and data logging. Switch between performance tunes and stock settings at any time. This license is also included in RIVA Maptuner Yamaha tuning bundles. System requirements: Maptuner X — Windows PC (Windows 7 or higher) with internet; Maptuner Nano — Android or iOS. Non-refundable once activated.
Rental Tuning License ($199.95). Built for rental and commercial fleets running Yamaha VX models with the TR-1 engine. Limits top speed (53 mph reduced to 45 mph; custom top speed tuning available), improves fuel economy by 20% with an updated fuel map, and increases reliability through reduced ignition timing — while acceleration and power for 2-up riding are unchanged. Once applied, future tuning changes are free, including restoring the original factory tune.
Map Edit License ($300.95). Lets you customize existing RIVA maps inside the Maptuner X desktop software. One license per vehicle. Requires the Maptuner X device (01-MTX) and a tuning license already applied to your ECU. System requirements: Windows PC (Windows 7 or higher) with internet.
